Three prominent local organizations are teaming up to encourage an inclusive approach to Opportunity Zones.

The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the Urban Neighborhood Initiative and the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce are hosting a series of meetings within the five area Opportunity Zones to help gather information about what the communities are looking for in terms of capital investment...

The three organizations have been working with a project called Accelerator for America, which is hosting an Opportunity Zone Investment Summit in March. The group plans to present a prospectus with potential investments in Kansas City at that summit.
